Olivier Baumgartner-Bezelgues :

Olivier is an independent consultant specialised in alternative investments and asset allocation (CIIA, CAIA).

After graduating from the Ecole Supérieure d’Informatique Electronique et Automatique in Paris with a civil engineering degree in 1999, Olivier moved to Switzerland to work for Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (BCV) as a founding member of the risk management department. Following three years at BCV, Olivier joined a prominent international Geneva based family office with a focus on in-house funds of hedge funds. Olivier’s concentration was on selecting hedge fund managers and contributing to manage portfolios of hedge funds.

Olivier then went to work for Unigestion, a multi-billion dollar firm specialized in alternative investments, where he was responsible for the selection of European hedge fund managers. For the past eight years, Olivier has been writing a monthly column dedicated to the hedge fund industry in the newspaper «Le Temps» and contributing to various publications
